What is the date of the show?

The 2019 California Food Expo is on September 9-10, 2019 at the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center.

When can I start setting up my booth?

All Sponsors & Exhibitors can set up their booths during the following times:

Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Monday, September 9, 2019 from 7:00AM – 4:00PM

What comes with my booth? How do I order chairs, refrigeration, etc. for my booth?

10x10 Exhibitor Booths include the following items:

  • Black Pipe & Drape (8’back, 3’ sides)
  • One small wastebasket
  • One 8’ Table with Black Linen
  • One 11x17 Sign with Booth Number
  • Two Vinyl Folding Chairs
  • Five Employee Badges

Additional items can be order using the Expo Decor Order Form.


EXPOLICIOUS is the consumer event that takes place from 5:00PM - 8:00PM, after the trade event concludes. During this time over 1,000 consumers who purchase tickets in advance get the opportunity to walk the show floor, learn about your products and celebrate California food. Unlike any other food industry trade show, this event highlights the power and impact of the consumer; offering invaluable insights to buyers who stay for the experience, and a premier opportunity for exhibitors to build brand ambassadors.

It is expected that all exhibitors participate in EXPOLICIOUS as part of their participation in the California Food Expo. This event not only helps to raise the profile of your brands, but it also helps us keep our exhibitor fees low. Tickets for EXPOLICIOUS will go on sale in August of 2019.

Can I pick my booth space?

Only Sponsors of the Expo get the opportunity to choose their booth location in order of their participation level. Once those spaces are chosen, exhibitors are provided booth numbers based on when they signed up and paid for their exhibitor booth in full.

What forms are required from exhibitors?

All exhibitors will be required to upload the following forms through their Registration Dashboard in order to exhibit at the Expo:

- Certificate of Insurance
- Hold Harmless Agreement
- Fresno County Health Department

Forms are due by August 2, 2019 and must be uploaded directly through their Registration Dashboard.

Do I have to get my Food Safety Certificate?

According to the Fresno County Department of Public Health, every exhibitor must have a person in their booth that has successfully passed an accredited food safety certification examination. This rule does not apply if an exhibitor is only handling prepackaged food or beverage products where product is never opened by the food booth operators.

Who can attend the Educational Sessions, Opening Reception and the Welcome Breakfast?

Educational Sessions are only open to approved buyers, sponsors and exhibitors,* and require pre-registration in order to receive access at the event. Registration to these events is only available through your registration dashboard.

*Sponsors and Exhibitors have a specified number of registrations allowed to each event. Please find those details on your company’s Registration Dashboard.

When will the award winners be announced?

On September 10, 2019 at the Welcome Breakfast.

What is the ConnectME Dashboard and how can I access it?

The ConnectME Dashboard, also referred to as the Registration Dashboard, is an online platform where confirmed sponsors and exhibitors can submit all of their necessary documents, register their employee badges and sign up for Special Events.
